​At Harmony Horse Center, we understand the incredible power of the human-horse connection. We believe that horses have a unique ability to touch our souls and teach us invaluable life lessons. Our mission is to help you unlock this extraordinary bond and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Our center was founded on several basic beliefs:

• If you have a child with a passion love of horses, there is no greater gift you can give them than horseback riding lessons.

• Horses help foster empathy, respect, and leadership. They teach responsibility and work ethic as children learn to care for them as well as ride them.​

• Working with horses can help kids build confidence and learn generosity of spirit.​

• Kids become more focused, mature and calm after spending time with horses.​

• We believe in hands-on horsemanship-which means that you don't just learn how to become a great rider, but you will learn about all the responsibilities of taking care of our horses. Because we believe that it's important for young people to learn to take care of something other than themselves.

 And it's not just kids. Adults see all of these benefits and more. Many adults have benefitted from the therapeutic effect horses have on our lives, helping to heal trauma, reduce anxiety, and just give us a sense of peace and calm. 

We also know that there are physical benefits to riding and working around horses. It's an active lifestyle, moving around as we go through the day of feeding, mucking, moving hay, and riding. Riding itself improves coordination, proprioception, and core strength.
